our programs

barbell equity fund

Focused on dismantling systemic barriers to strength and movement practices, the Barbell Equity Fund hopes to provide the funding for gym memberships, strength coaching, and barbell group classes to those who would not otherwise have the means to participate.

kilo fund

Focused on instilling confidence in youth through movement and participation in strength sports, the KILO Fund hopes to provide lower income youth with access to strength training — whether that be in their schools, after-school programs, or in the gym setting. The KILO Fund also hopes to fund the cost of competing in strength sports like powerlifting and olympic weightlifting to youth who do not have the financial means.

gym access fund

Focused on accessibility within the fitness space, the Gym Access Fund hopes to provide the education and tools needed to make strength spaces more accessible to EVERYbody including the disabled, the marginalized, and the chronically ill.

the strength locker

When competing in strength sports or even just recreational lifting, there comes an additional cost of clothing, shoes, and equipment like belts, knee sleeves, and wrist wraps. For folks who have financial barriers to movement and strength training, acquiring gyms clothes and extra equipment can be a financial strain that may prevent participation.

Through financial donations and physical donations (both used and new). The Strength Locker hopes to provide these items to folks who would not otherwise have the means.
